Terms of Service

Last updated: July 28, 2026 (EDT)

These are the terms that apply when you browse Brickonia or buy from us. They are written to be read, not skimmed past.

1. Who we are

Brickonia is an independent online LEGO® storefront operated by InceptionAI Inc., based in Québec, Canada. Where these terms say "we", they mean InceptionAI Inc. trading as Brickonia.

LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this site. Brickonia is an independent reseller of genuine LEGO® sets.

We have no affiliation, partnership, or endorsement relationship with the LEGO Group. We never claim one, and nothing on this site should be read as implying one.

2. How we sell, and who you are contracting with

This is the most important section on the page, so it comes early. Brickonia sells in two ways, and each set's page states which one applies to it before you click anything:

  • Sets we stock are sold by us. You buy here, your contract is with InceptionAI Inc., and these terms govern the sale in full.
  • Sets we do not stock link out to Amazon for your market. Your contract is then with Amazon or the seller of record on that listing, not with us, and their terms, prices, shipping and returns govern it. We earn an affiliate commission on those purchases, at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, Brickonia earns from qualifying purchases.
  • Sets nobody has in your market are not offered for sale at all, and are marked as museum pieces.

As of the last-updated date above, we do not stock sets ourselves: every purchase made through this site completes on Amazon. Sections 3 and 4 below govern sets we sell directly and take effect for a given set once it is offered on that basis.

We are not a third-party marketplace seller. We do not list LEGO® products for sale on Amazon or any other marketplace, and we hold no marketplace inventory.

3. What we sell directly

  • Genuine LEGO® sets, new and factory-sealed.
  • Product availability reflects real stock. Retirement or scarcity notices appear only when the LEGO Group has publicly announced them.
  • We do not sell used, opened, or repackaged sets, and we do not part out sets.

4. Orders placed with us

  • An order is an offer to buy; it is accepted when we send the order confirmation.
  • We may decline or cancel an order where we have a serious reason (suspected fraud, pricing error as described below, product no longer obtainable). If we cancel, you are refunded in full, promptly, and told why.
  • You may cancel an order at no cost any time before it ships. Write to us at hello@brickonia.com.
  • These rules do not apply to an order you place on Amazon, which Amazon's own terms govern.

5. Prices and mistakes

  • Prices are shown in the currency of your market: CAD in Canada, USD in the United States, GBP in the United Kingdom and EUR in France. Applicable taxes are shown per your market's rules.
  • Prices displayed for a set we do not stock are our best reading of the current Amazon listing, refreshed regularly but not guaranteed. The price that binds is the one at Amazon's checkout, not the one you saw here.
  • If a clear pricing error slips through on a set we sell directly (a misplaced decimal happens to the best of us), we will contact you before doing anything: you can confirm at the corrected price or cancel with a full refund. We will not silently cancel and relist.

6. Shipping and returns

For a set we sell directly, shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy and returns by our Returns and Refunds Policy, both written in plain language, both part of these terms. For a set bought on Amazon, Amazon's shipping and returns policies apply instead, and both of our policy pages say so explicitly.

7. Your account and conduct

  • Account features are optional; buying does not require newsletter signup or any subscription.
  • Don't use the site to do anything unlawful, to scrape at abusive volumes, or to interfere with other builders' use of it.

8. Intellectual property

  • The 3D renders, build animations, page designs, and text on this site are ours (© Brickonia) or used under license. You may not reuse them commercially without permission.
  • Our 3D models derive from files by LDraw Official Model Repository authors, used under their CC-BY licenses. Author and license are credited on each product page and on our credits page; those attributions are part of the work and must be preserved in any permitted reuse.
  • Catalog data is sourced from Rebrickable.
  • All LEGO® trademarks, the brick-and-knob configurations protected by the LEGO Group's rights, box art, and official imagery belong to the LEGO Group. Our use of the word "LEGO®" is nominative: it names the genuine products we resell.

9. Disclaimers and liability

  • We sell the sets; we do not manufacture them. Manufacturer quality issues are nonetheless our problem to help solve. See the Returns and Refunds Policy.
  • To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under the Civil Code of Québec, Québec's Consumer Protection Act, or other applicable consumer law, and those protections always prevail over these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

For consumers, mandatory consumer protection rules of your place of residence continue to apply, and disputes may be brought before the courts of your place of residence where the law so provides.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above moves when we do. Material changes get a plain-language note. Changes never apply retroactively to orders already placed.

12. Contact

Write to us at hello@brickonia.com. For legal notices, our mailing address is: 937 rue Pouliot. A real person from the Brickonia Team answers.
