Returns & Refunds Policy

Last updated: July 28, 2026 (EDT)

Who refunds you depends on who sold you the set. Getting this wrong is how shops lose people, so we would rather be blunt about it than reassuring and vague.

Where we are today, plainly

We do not stock sets ourselves yet, so every purchase made through Brickonia today is an Amazon order, and Amazon's returns policy governs it. We cannot refund a purchase we never took payment for. The second half of this page describes what will apply to sets we sell directly, once our own shelf opens.

Sets bought on Amazon

  • Amazon's returns window and process apply, from your Amazon account, on their timeline.
  • Amazon issues the refund, to the payment method you used with them. No money passed through us, so none can come back from us.
  • Damaged, wrong or missing parcels go through Amazon's customer service, which can actually reach the warehouse and the carrier.
  • We will still help you figure out what to ask for and where, if their process is being unhelpful. Write to us. We just cannot move the money.

Sets we sell directly (not open yet)

When you buy a set we stock, we take the payment and the return is ours to handle. These commitments hold from the day that shelf opens, because they depend on nobody but us:

  • You get 30 days from delivery to start a return.
  • Sets must come back unopened and factory-sealed, in the condition they arrived in. We can only resell a set as new if its seals are intact.
  • Once the return arrives and checks out, we refund the payment method you used, in full.
  • No restocking fee, ever.
  • If the mistake was ours (wrong set, damaged in transit), the return costs you nothing, and you choose between a replacement and a full refund.
  • For a change-of-mind return, return shipping is yours to cover.
  • Please pack the set inside a shipping box, as it arrived: the LEGO® box is part of the product for many builders, and crushed corners hurt.

To start one, write to hello@brickonia.com with your order number and wait for our reply before shipping anything back, so the set does not arrive somewhere unattended.

Your legal rights

Nothing in this policy reduces the warranties and remedies you hold under the Civil Code of Québec, Québec's Consumer Protection Act, or your local consumer protection law in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom or France. Where this policy and the law differ, the law wins. For a purchase completed on Amazon, your rights run against the seller of record on that order.
