How buying works
Most shops make you guess who you are actually buying from. We would rather just tell you, on the page, before you click anything.
Right now, honestly: we do not stock anything ourselves yet, so every set you can buy today completes on Amazon. Our own shelf opens when we have a supply line worth standing behind, and not a day earlier. Nothing on this page changes when it does, because it was written for both.
Sets we stock
You buy here. We take the payment, we pack the box, we ship it, and if something goes wrong you are talking to us. Genuine and factory-sealed, same as everything else on this site.
Sets we do not stock
We could pretend we can get you every set in the world. We cannot. So for these we point you to Amazon, clearly labelled, and the sale is theirs: their payment, their shipping, their returns policy. We earn a small commission when you buy, which is what pays for the 3D and the price history you used to decide.
Sets nobody has
Retired, sold out, or simply unavailable where you live. We will not invent stock to keep a page looking alive, so these move to the museum wing: still explorable in 3D, honestly marked as not for sale, with a notify-me if you want to know when that changes.
Questions people actually ask
So who am I buying from?
Whoever the product page says. Sets we stock are sold by Brickonia, which is the storefront of InceptionAI Inc. Sets we do not stock are sold by Amazon or a seller on Amazon, and we say so on the page and label the link.
Do you actually sell anything yourselves yet?
Not yet. We are an independent shop building toward holding our own stock, and until that supply line exists we would rather send you to Amazon than take money for a box we cannot guarantee we can get. When our own shelf opens, the sets on it will say so plainly.
Why not just be an Amazon affiliate site and skip the rest?
Because the part we are actually building is the choosing: every set turnable in 3D, real price history, honest availability, and a straight answer about whether a set is retired. Amazon is where a lot of those sets happen to be buyable today. It is the checkout, not the point.
Do you make money if I click through to Amazon?
Yes, a small commission, at no extra cost to you: the price is the same as going to Amazon directly. As an Amazon Associate, Brickonia earns from qualifying purchases. We would rather say that out loud than have you find it in a footnote.
Who handles shipping and returns?
Whoever sold you the set. For a set we ship, our own shipping and returns policies apply and you deal with us. For a set bought on Amazon, Amazon’s shipping and returns apply and you deal with them, which also means their delivery estimates and their refund timelines, not ours.
